How To Request For Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry Attested GCE A/L and O/L Certificates.

Those who are applying for visa and foreign universities are required to submit local A/L and O/L certificates which are attested by Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry. This guide helps you to know everything you need to know about getting the correct documents.
Step #1: Go to https://doenets.lk/
Step #2: Scroll down to “Our Services” section.
Step #3: Select “Online Certificates” option.
Step #4: Get “Request Examination Certificates / Verification of Results Online” web page.
Step #5: Click on “Request Certificates”.
Step #6: Click again on “Request Certificates” to continue.
Step #7: Click again on “Request Certificates” to continue.
Step #8: Get “Request Exam Certificate” page.
Step #9: Enter your NIC, Contact number and email address correctly and click “Submit”.
Step #10: You’ll be sent an OTP to your entered email address and to the phone number.
Step #11: Enter the OTP and click “Submit”.
Step #12: Select the GCE certificate you want & the exam year and click “Submit”.
Step #13: You’ll get below screen if you are eligible to request for the certificate online. Click on “Confirm”.
Step #14: Select “Foreign Ministry Certificate (Direct to Foreign Ministry)” under certificate type. Then click on “Confirm and Proceed”.
Step #15: Proceed to payment.
Step #16: Select the payment option. Visa/Master would be easy.
Step #17: Make the payment.
Step #18: Receive the request successful email notification.
Step #19: You’ll receive an email once the document is ready to be collected.
Step #20: Go to the Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry and collect the printed certificate.

Make sure you take your NIC and the correct reference number with you. Go early in the morning as you’ll have to wait in a long que.
Foreign Ministry attested documents will be valid only for 1 year from the printed date.
