An exam is something we can celebrate. We can be happy by seeing our spectacular results. A good result is not always the lofty but sometimes what we expected, something fills our heart’s content.

We face exams in different seasons for different reasons. No matter what the circumstance is, we leverage exams to win over something. No one faces an exam without a prophecy, without a hope and just to fail.

In the pursuit of winning an exam, we muster the courage. We try to recall the motivation. We seek for the inspiration. But we are not the people who always hit the pinnacle all the time. We get only what we deserve.

As you sow, so shall you reap

But no excuse will help you to get what you want. One simple excuse is more than enough to refrain you from owning your feat. Once you vowed to win, vie your competency not the luck, not even the capability of someone else. Gap between your present and your dreams is what you do and the time you have to pursue.

Expecting new results by doing the same thing over and over again is weird. We should understand the value of being surrendered to change. Don’t be scared to try something new. What you did, has brought you here but it won’t get you to the summit where you need to be.

I truly like to see you win. And it’s my pleasure to help you to win. In the end, all of us are the mankind. Here are some tips and tricks I’ve used to elevate my exam results.

1) Drink more water.

Our brain is made most out of water. Water helps our brain to keep functioning. In average, a student should drink 6 to 8 glasses of water per day.

2) Focus on worthy.
An inundation of work may come to your mind. But every single task has an urgency and an importance. Follow the metric below to measure the task you have to get done. You aren’t a machine. You cannot do everything though you can do anything.

3) Leverage your sleep.

Sleep is totally underrated. Sleep improves our memory and lower our blood pressure. Working without taking a rest is like you driving your Formula 1 car without stopping at the pit. We all are humans made out of blood, water and other essentials. Chemicals have to be balanced and you should help your kidneys and liver to perform its' prominent task.

4) Immersed in doing revision.
Knowing the subject matter is not enough. We should know how to apply the knowledge. During the exam time, we are under pressure. We should practice to handle that pressure. It can only be done by doing revision. Work on past papers. It’s a great way for practicing.

5) Question yourself.

When we go ahead in the academia, methods of evaluation get differed. According to the Bloom’s taxonomy, evaluation gets critical gradually. It says that the evaluation methods focused on the creativity of the candidate. Hence self questioning will make you secure and it’ll make you more creative.

6) Workout daily.

Working out helps to improve blood flow. In fact, exercises helps brain to be oxygenated. As a a result of that, we won’t feel lazy.

7) Time Chunking

It’s a smart method which helps us to be more productive. In a nutshell, clear all the distractions and work for 20/ 25 minutes. Then stop the work even though you are not done. Then take a 5 minutes break. Then start working on another 20/25 minutes. Psychology behind this method is amazing. Our brain is hard coded to concentrate on something for short time periods. If the focusing period is too lengthy, we loose our focus. Hence we won’t be productive. Taking a break refreshes our mind. Moreover, our brain has a behaviour to remember all the unfinished work. If the work is not done during the time chunk, brain induces us to wrap it up somehow. It’ll help us to be motivated for another time chunk.

Believe in you. Because you become what you believe…
